Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials Symposium ¡V Nanotechnology and Smart Materials for Medical & Healthcare Applications

¡§A Nano-Sized Doctor¡¨

Touted as the key to unlocking a new generation of materials and devices with revolutionary properties and functionalities, nanotechnology is being developed at breakneck speed and is giving rise to promising possibilities in smart materials, implants, and medical devices.

With presentations from both the research community and industry, the symposium will demonstrate how the convergence of nanotechnology and advanced materials will lead to breakthroughs in targeted drug delivery and diagnostics. These innovations in diagnosis and treatment of diseases and other health-related problems reveal the tremendous potential to be realized in nano-medical area for better, more efficient and affordable healthcare.

This event provides a platform where attendees from both academia and industry to exchange their views on the latest scientific advances, find ideas for new products as well as to follow and identify important advancements in the field of biomedical and healthcare industry.

Knowledge Transfer Conference

¡§Partnering for Success: Mastering Innovation, Leveraging Opportunities, Engaging Community¡¨

The conference aims to promote Hong Kong as a hub for innovation, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship, hence building Hong Kong's leadership role in knowledge transfer, creating impact to the overall economic development in the region and adding diversity and strength to the economic development.
