Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials Symposium – Applications and Technologies of Fire Resistant Building Materials
“An Ounce of Prevention”
Fires are real hazards in all built environments, and it is the prevailing regulation in Hong Kong and many major cities in the world that all building materials are fire-rated, i.e. they are proven building materials which are not only incombustible but also able to withstand the effects of fires for a specified period of time.
This forum aims to present recent advances on fire protection in built environments and latest developments in fire resistant building materials as well as current practices in the construction industry to researchers, designers, builders as well as materials suppliers.
The event aims to provide a platform among various stakeholders to exchange ideas, to discuss current problems and future needs, and to consolidate technical supports for possible research and development projects.
To reserve your seats, please complete the Registration Form, fax it to 2358 8113 or email iris@nami.org.hk. For any questions, please contact Iris at 2358 5076.
