Marketing Executive
Duties

The appointee will assist in the design, execution and performance tracking of marketing programmes and events; management of marketing database; design and production of both online and printed marketing materials such as website marketing content, e-newsletter; liaison with various trade associations and industry; market research and project incubation.

Requirements
  • A bachelor or higher degree preferably in business administration, communication, science or engineering; ƒÜ

Duties

The appointee will assist the head of the business team on market research, analysis and development; technology investment due diligence, incubation, commercial contract negotiation and drafting, patent management and marketing channel management.

Requirements
  • A bachelor degree in science or engineering (preferably in chemistry, biochemistry or biology);
  • A master degree in business administration would be an advantage.

TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION MANAGER
Duties

The appointee will assist the head of the business team on the incubation and commercialization of new technology ¡V to be responsible for the development of market-driven product specifications; to lead the product engineering of new technologies; managing product costs; the company¡¦s product roadmap and to oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring and the transfer of technology to industry.

Requirements
  • A MPhil or higher degree in science or engineering; a degree in business would be an advantage;
  • A minimum of 8 years hands-on experience preferably in the area of a) photovoltaic technology or b) solid-state lighting or c) surface treatment and coating for metal or polymer, d) environmental technology, e) nanotechnology or f) bio-related and healthcare products working on research and development, product design and engineering, experience in scaling up of new designs for production would be an advantage

Duties

The appointee will assist the head of the R&D Section on the large scale R &D projects, including drawing up proposal; developing market-driven technology specifications; leading the product engineering of new technologies; managing technology roadmap and overseeing the planning, implementation and monitoring of the project milestones.

Requirements

Process Engineer
Duties

The appointee will be responsible for process development/optimization such as PECVD, PVD, laser, encapsulation, characterization, design and simulation, material, device and process characterization and statistical analysis to quantify performance deltas and establish process specifications; improve and optimize existing laser scribe process, and develop next generation laser process; improve solar module manufacturing processes by identifying and developing next generation solar module production equipment; lead efforts to improve process capability by identifying significant sources of variation in the existing production process and developing system/equipment improvements; develop innovative systems and solutions; apply experimental techniques and statistical methods to drive process improvement; provide feasible solution on the installation, technical system check and recipe tuning of equipment; handle failure report and documentation, drive design issues and solution findings; advise on thin film solar process troubleshooting; perform microstructural and microchemical characterization and multidisciplinary collaborative investigations and team-oriented problem solving with other materials characterization specialists and scientists/engineers.

Requirements

A MPhil or PhD degree in chemical, electrical, mechanical engineering, materials science, physics or similar engineering disciplines; experience in thin film deposition, semiconductor processing, and device/material testing and analysis; strong technical skills in materials/device characterization techniques and measurements; preferably with work experience in engineering with exposure in the area of nanotechnology and advanced materials.   • Use DOE method to identify the key process parameters, develop a semi-production process and understand the necessary material/ device scheme/ processing parameters changes for improving PV module efficiency, production yield and stability;
  • Apply statistic tool to analyze root cause of the failure and conduct experiments to gain a deeper understanding of the key process variables and fundamental physics;
  • Optimize target compositions and precursor deposition conditions for desired microstructures and compositions as well as sputtering parameters for better PV film efficiency;
  • Responsible for inter-department data collection as well as design and failure analysis based on different process schedule and lead time;
  • Perform data analysis from testing results in order to effectively feedback for the next process cycle/equipment modifications;

  • Gain deeper understanding of junction material structures for PV cells and feed back the material characterization results with a clear explanation to the process and device design team;
  • Characterize incoming substrate/ thin film materials for evaporation and thermal processing and to correlate with final PV panel efficiency to provide a deeper understanding of PV thin film material properties;
  • Work with cross-functional teams to refine technology strategy and optimize PV device performance;
  • Assist in characterization of junction material structures of thin film PV cells.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor/ MS/ PhD degree in Material science, Chemistry, Physics, or related field is required;
  • At least 2-4 years experiences and demonstrated capability in inorganic thin-film PV micro/nano-structures characterization, though fresh graduates will also be considered;
  • Expertise in thin film micro / nano-structure characterization using Raman spectroscopy, SEM/EDX, XRD, TSIM, FTIR, etc;
  • Strong working knowledge of inorganic thin-film PV cell including materials, processes and equipment, familiar with Statistics and tact system for process optimization;
  • Self-motivated, results oriented team player with excellent analytical and communication skills;
